Direct Support Professional- In Home Support (Part-time and Full-time)
This position is exclusively for the 2025 Regina Refugee Hiring Event. To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Arrived in Canada as a refugee (government or private sponsorship), applied for asylum after arriving in Canada (refugee claimant/asylum seeker), or were forcibly displaced. This includes individuals from countries such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iran, and others.
- Currently reside in Saskatchewan.
- Should be able to attend the event in-person in Regina on September 24.
- Eligible to work in Canada (you must have a valid work permit, permanent residency, or citizenship).
- 18 years of age or older.

Turning Leaf is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides person-centered, crisis and treatment services to low and high-risk, vulnerable and marginalized individuals living with mental illness and intellectual challenge in our community. Turning Leaf Support Services’ Intensive Home Supports (IHS) Division is designed to provide 24-hour, in-facility, person-centered supports to adults (or individuals transitioning to adulthood) who are living with intellectual challenge, developmental disability and/or mental illness. IHS Direct Support Professional will work directly with our participants in helping set goals and making healthy life choices. IHS Direct Support Professional will work closely with and report to the IHS Supervisors and Team Leads to observe, plan, implement and execute programs and activities that promote and encourage learning and development in daily living, social and life skills.
